SAP CIN : How to MAINTAIN MOVEMENT TYPE GROUPS in SUBCONTRACTING

In subcontracting, the vendor is provided with materials, which he uses to produce the finished product.
From the point of view of materials planning, subcontracting is initiated by the special procurement key subcontracting. The special procurement key is allocated to the finished product or the assembly in the material master in MRP 2 view.

Here in this chapter we lean how to configure subcontracting scenario attribute for the Subcontracting process for a given Excise Group , Excise Transaction Type or / and Subtransaction

Group Movement Types Together to form Movement Type Group's

STEP 1: Following is the path For to MAINTAIN MOVEMENT TYPE GROUPS in SUBCONTRACTING

• IMG activity path : IMG > LOGISTIC GENERAL > TAX ON GOODS MOVEMENT > INDIA > BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS > SUBCONTRACTING >  MAINTAIN MOVEMENT TYPE GROUPS
• Transaction code : SPRO

STEP 2 : Click on execute button to MAINTAIN MOVEMENT TYPE GROUPS in SUBCONTRACTING


STEP 3 :   then Click on New Entries 

The following Screen will appear here we have to maintain Mvt Group ; Mvt type ; Special Stock.

• 1) Movement Group :- Here you can enter max. 4 Character value as of your own choice. We club different movement types under this Goup as per our requirement. 
• 2) Movement Type :-  Movement type groups will be used to club the movement types based on their nature (issues or receipts)These groups can be defined individually for each subtransaction type of every transaction type.
• 3) Special Stock :- If we want to manage certain Stock (e.g .Consignment) of a material separately , the stock type in question is defined using this indicator.

STEP 4 :  Click on Save Button to store Configured data
