SAP CIN : HOW ASSIGN USERS TO MATERIAL MASTER SCREEN SEQUENCE FOR EXCISE DUTY ?

Here we customize the material master data so that it shows the information relating to excise duty.
CIN comes with a screen sequence that shows the excise duty fields. We have to assign it to each of our users.


STEP 1: Following is the path For to  ASSIGN USERS TO MATERIAL MASTER SCREEN SEQUENCE FOR EXCISE DUTY 

  • IMG activity path :IMG > LOGISTIC GENERAL > TAX ON GOODS MOVEMENT > INDIA > MASTER DATA > ASSIGN USERS TO MATERIAL MASTER SCREEN SEQUENCE FOR EXCISE DUTY
  • Transaction code : SPRO


STEP 2: Click on execute button to ASSIGN USERS TO MATERIAL MASTER SCREEN SEQUENCE FOR EXCISE DUTY

STEP 3:   Following type Window will Open



STEP 4: Update the Details in information of Screen Sequence Control

Screen Sequence Control :-

  • Screen Reference Depending on the transaction : - Grouping of transactions that determines what screens are displayed depending on the transaction when you maintain Material Master Record. It also determines the order in which the screens appear.
  • Screen Reference Depending on the User :- Grouping of users that determines what screens are displayed in accordance with the user master record when we maintain material master records. It also determines the order in which the screens appear. If user is not specifed then the screen sequence applies to all user and if it is specified it applies to only specified user.

  • Screen Reference Depending on the Material Type :- Grouping of material types that determines what screens are displayed depending on the material typewhen we maintain material master records. It also determines the order in which the screens appear. If you specify the material type then the sequence applies to that particular material type only . If we have not specified then it applies to all Material Types.

  • Screen Reference Depending on the Industry Sector :-Grouping of industry sectors that determines what screens are displayed depending on the industry sector when we maintain material master records. It also determines the order in which the screens appear. If you specify the Industry Sector then the sequence applies to that particular Industry Sector only . If we have not specified then it applies to all Industry Sector

  • Screen Sequence Number :- A two character key idetifying the Screen Sequence . The screen sequence defines the sequence of information units in the material master dialog. A screen sequence is made up of data screen. There are predefined screen sequence in SAP you can use them else you have to define new ine as per your requirement with the help of ABAPer.




STEP 5 : Now Update information of Transaction Screen reference






STEP 6 : Now Update information of  User Screen reference





STEP 7 : Now Update information of  Material Type Screen reference








STEP 8 : Now Update information of  Industry section Screen reference



STEP 9 :  Click on Save Button to store Configured data
